Financial Services Management consultants - London ( UK wide ) + travel ( also recruting in Frankfurt, Paris, NY & Singapore )
£80,000 - £135,000 + 25% bonus + benefits
Our client, a prestigious global consultancy who has a reputation for exceeding client expectations, is currently expanding their financial services team. Their clients include prestigious Investment banks ( G-14 ), Large domestic retail banks and exchanges. Our client typically work at C-level to shape strategy & build the oprating model for a range of operational issues accross Front, middle & back office. Current assignments include, imnplementing a Straight thorugh processing technology for tier 1 investment bank, Merging back office functions, implementing new Banking platforms, implementing EPM & MI systems to track regulatory change, Technology TOM & Strategy and implementing systems to manage credit & market risk.
In the current market the FS team are experiencing particularly strong demand as their clients are under increased pressure to reduce costs, merge & streamline operations and respond to new regulations. With pressure on headcount many banks are turning to our client for help. Against this backdrop our client is looking to expand their very successful team further. We are currently looking to recruit 3 Senior managers and two Directors with experience within Financial services.

The ideal candidates will have gained Financial Services experience (Investment Banking, Asset management, Retail Banking ) in either an established management consultancy firm or working in-house for a global Bank.
The successful applicant must have experience in one fo the following areas:
Technology strategy, ( including TOM design ), Platform Regeneration, Straight-Through-Processing;
or
Looking at Middle Office Function – Asset Servicing, Collateral Management ( OTC ), Cash Management, Treasury and Liquidity; or
Finance transformaiton - including areas such as product control, budgeting, planning, forecasting, risk adjusted reporting, MI, Scorcards, profitability analysis; or
Design & set-up of Finance Shared Service Centres &
Outsourcing, Off Shoring advisory work ( including sourcing )
Applications and Infrastructure - Solutions and Custom Build and Standard Packages – Murex Calypso etc
With exposure to Reference Data, Complex Derivatives, Mobile Banking and Payments
Risk management & regulatory change;or
Operaitonal excellence & process improvement; or
Front office Product control;
The successful individual will also have:,p>
Professional qualifications from recognised Institutes such as ICAEW, CIMA
First class delivery skills of large, complex projects;
Degree educated
At senior level we would expect a track record in business development
