What we are looking for
We are looking for Managers and Associate Principals who want to lead a team of outstanding consultants to help unleash their potential and build our firm, whilst delivering exceptional results to our partners and clients. As we implement change our teams work on site for up to 12 months, side by side with client teams. Typically we work on a 5/4 roster as we appreciate that our consultants have lives outside of PIP though we expect a passion for results and strong action orientation!
You will work closely with the firm’s clients to define and develop practical and sustainable solutions to complex and evolving issues. To be successful you will need a proactive, team oriented approach to the undertaking of analysis and operational improvement.
Candidates must possess all of the following criteria:
• 5+ years' consulting experience in a top-tier Strategy House (such as McKinsey, Bain, BCG, MMG or Monitor)
or relevant mining/resources industry/consulting experience in operations or performance improvement.
• An MBA or higher degree in Engineering or Science is essential
• Experience in the resources sector (coal, gold and /or hard rock), utilities, oil & gas or chemicals
• Strong interpersonal and coaching skills
• Well developed communication skills
• Advanced excel and data modelling skills
• Work authorisation for Africa and/or South Africa, or experience working in those geographies previously
