This niche IT and technology consultancy provides services in the specialist area of telecommunications and network services. They deliver ICT strategy and sourcing and governance consulting services to large end-user organisations. Their technology expertise encompasses the likes of voice and data networks, unified communications, cloud computing and security solutions.
Whilst the teams work across sectors, opportunities currently exist for individuals with ICT experience in either financial services or the public sector. I’m keen to hear from individuals with good business transformation and change experience underpinned by technology, rather than ‘techies’ who love code cutting!
Financial services consultants in communications technology:
You’ll bring to the firm previous external consulting experience with a good consulting brand in the market. You’ll have in depth knowledge of the systems used within investment banks, capital markets and insurance institutions and will be comfortable being responsible for delivering IT transformation in this environment. You’ll be considered a bit of a guru and will have solely external experience in this type of work.
Public sector consultants in communications technology:
You’ll need experience in delivering ICT services in either a recognised consulting firm or a Central Government department, e.g. MOD or MOJ. You’ll have a clear appreciation as to how ICT can drive the Efficiency and Reform Agenda and you’ll understand the role of TNS in implementing the UK ICT strategy. Security clearance would be an added bonus.

- Be comfortable working in small teams and enjoy the visibility this brings
