IT Transaction Services, part of the Operational Transaction Services (OTS) team, advise and support clients through the complete deal lifecycle providing a range of sell-side and buy-side IT services to clients. Services range from complex IT due diligence, post merger integration, carve out/separation and post-deal value enhancement through to corporate restructuring. They also provide non-deal related services to strategic Ernst & Young clients.
You should have had exposure to at least two the following:
- Experience of transactions, ideally in performing of IT Due Diligence and/or IT post merger integration, separation/carve-out assignments.
- Experience in industry in a Managerial capacity.
- Experience of IT advisory and consulting within a professional services environment.
Essential Attributes:
- Broad knowledge and deep understanding of one or more core aspects of a typical IT function, including Enterprise Architecture, IT Strategy and Governance, Systems Integration and Application Development, IT Service Delivery, IT infrastructure, IT financials and dynamics of an IT function.
- Programme and project management expertise with demonstrable experience in managing and being responsible for the delivery of successful programmes.
- Knowledge of Structured methodologies and a familiarity with industry standards such as ITIL for Infrastructure, Systems Development Life Cycle methods and COBIT for IT governance.
- Ability to provide insights based on experience on IT aspects of transaction deals.
- Flexibility with working locations, the ability to learn quickly and leverage skills in new situations.
- Experience of IT outsourcing, vendor management and IT procurement.
Desirable Attributes:
- Business administration or accounting knowledge (example MBA or CA or CIMA).
- Experience in business development.
Client responsibilities:
- Managing engagements that include IT due diligence (ITDD) assignments (example, buy-side, sell-side, IPO) from inception to completionClient responsibilities.
- Managing engagements that include post merger integration, carve-out/separation planning and execution assignments (example, buy-side, sell-side,) from inception to completion including leading engagement delivery on the ground managing key client relationships and expectations.
- Providing insightful, deal-relevant points of view, recommendations based on robust analysis and addressing complex technical points.
- Involvement in the sales process and support the development and delivery of technical proposals, attending sales meetings and sales presentations.
