Financial Services Management consultants - London + travel

£60,000 - £150,000 + bonus + benefits

 

Our client, a prestigious global consultancy who has a reputation for exceeding client expectations, is currently expanding their financial services team. The FS team partners on-site with major blue chip banks & insurance firms to advise on issues ranging from Finance transformation ( including Shared Service Centre design ) to regulatory change and risk management. In the current market the FS team are experiencing particularly strong demand as their clients are under increased pressure to reduce costs, merge & streamline operations and respond to new regulations.

Against this backdrop our client is looking to grow their team and expand their very successful team We are currently looking to recruit a number of consultants, Senior managers and two Directors with experience within Financial services and specifically in process improvement/ Operational excellence and the Risk & regulation areas. The ideal candidates will have gained Financial Services experience (Investment Banking, Asset management, Retail Banking or Insurance) in either an established management consultancy firm ( IBM, Accenture, Cap Gemini, 'Big 4', Strategy House ) or working in-house for a global Bank or insurance company.

The successful applicant must have the following:

  • FS project experience in either: 1) Corporate Performance management - includes areas such as:
  • budgeting, planning, forecasting, reporting, MI, Scorcards; or
  • TOM and design & set-up of Finance Shared Service Centres; or
  • Risk management & regulatory change;or
  • Operaitonal excellence & process improvement; or
  • Transformaiton, transition management & cost reduction initiatives;or
  • BPO advisory work

    The successful individual will also have:,p>

  • Professional qualifications from recognised Institutes such as ICAEW, CIMA
  • First class delivery skills of large, complex projects;
  • Degree educated
  • At senior level we would expect a track record in business development
