Financial Services Management Consultants - London

£50k to £170k base + Benefits

 
We are currently working with one of the most admired and prestigious consulting firms in the world and 2 global investment banks in the UK who are all seeking to hire candidates with experience working in the Financial Services practice of a leading consulting firm or working directly for a global Bank or Insurance company.

The roles working directly for 2 global investment banks offer candidates excellent worklife balance with minimal travel and the financial rewards to go with it which include bonuses far higher than those typically received within management consultancy.

The ideal candidates will have gained Financial Services experience (Investment Banking/Capital Markets, Retail Banking or Insurance) in either an established management consultancy firm ( IBM, Accenture, Cap Gemini, 'Big 4', Strategy House, Capco, boutique etc ) or working for a global Bank or Insurance company.

We are looking for people with skills in one or more of the following areas:

• Corporate performance management ( including scorceards, budgeting , planning & forecasting, Target Operating Model Design)
• FInance Shared Service centres design and implemenetation within Financial Services;
• Risk Management - Market Risk,Credit Risk, Operational Risk, IT Risk, Basel II, Solvency II or Capital Management
• Finance & Performance Management, CFO Advisory of Finance Management/Transformation
• Regulatory Advisory to FS - Governance Compliance
• Programme/Project Directors/Managers - To have led teams of varying size (average of 30) and budgets of £2m+ and with Prince 2
• Strategy (ideally deal-focused from a Pure Play Strategy Firm)
• Process Improvement - Business Process Re-engineering (BPR), Process Modelling, Process Mapping, Workflow Definition, Six Sigma, Lean, Business Process Transformation, Process Flow Definition & Design, Process Control Design
• Operating Models - Target Operating Model, Business Operating Model, Organisational Design, Functional Blueprint Definition & Design,
• Derivatives - OTC derivatives, Credit Derivatives, Exchange-Traded Derivatives, CDO's, CMO's, Options, Futures, Swaps,
• Knowledge of the following key systems would be an advantage - Rolfe & Nolan. Murex. Summit. Calypso. Smartstream. Gloss. Intellimatch, GMI
• Sound understanding of the end-to-end transaction process and its associated control framework, including: Transaction captureTransaction processing (operations), Product control, Financial control, Hand-offs between above areas
• M&A / Private Equity
• BI, data warehousing, data modelling or data analytics roles
• Cognos, Hyperion HFM or SAP BFC/BPC
• Business Objects Finance, Cartesis Finance, Cartesis Magnitude or Outlooksoft
• CRM or Contact Centre transformation or Salesforce or Customer experience in FS
• Senior Business Analysts & Technical Business Analysts
• PMO
• Change Management ( we have 2 Head of Change Management roles with one bank)
• Operations Consultants - processes
• Lean/Six Sigma
• Insurance Claim Systems - Guidewire, Pega, SAP Claims
• Asset Management
• SAP IS Banking or experience implementing SAP into banks and insurers
• IT Project Managers with full lifecycle IT ecperience including UAT

All candidates must be Degree educated and ideally with a Professional qualifications from recognised Institutes such as MBA,ICAEW, CIMA, ACA, CFA etc.
