Head of Strategy Role: 

As Head of Strategy, you will use strategic, analytical and creative thinking regularly. You will
have the opportunity to consult with clients across real estate sectors on a range of capabilities from marketing, brand strategy and architecture, positioning and customer experience to social impact, community engagement, placemaking organisational structure and business cases/process.
You will be responsible for structuring and managing projects in terms of budgets, thinking
and delivery. You will use business knowledge, past experience and business and team
resources effectively to address client challenges and fulfil project deliverables.

• Work closely with Founder and MD
• Responsible for leading the development of strategy for client businesses, brands, projects and concepts with a focus on delivering commercially strong, engaging solutionsthat clients commercial and creative objectives.
• Lead team of strategists and project managers
• Position Conductor as leading strategic partner
• Help to raise their profile through thought leadership articles, involvement and attendance of conferences and panels, and membership of relevant industry groups, boards and committees
• Share knowledge of trends, marketing and technology to educate the broader team
• Demonstrate strategic and creative leadership, internally and externally, through education on trends, marketing and technology
• Forge strong relationships with clients and partner businesses
• Help to grow their insights and strategy team's 

Work closely with the leadership team to drive the strategic agenda for existing clients and to open up new opportunities for repeat business and new business
• Help to grow the team, offer and client base

• Research: market, industry, consumer, innovations and new business. Manage and analyse quantitative and qualitative customer / prospect research, partnering with
analytics specialists as appropriate
• Data: responsible for setting benchmarks and measurement criteria on all projects to ensure Conductor USP in property of an evidence-based consultancy
• Presentations: Lead creation of pitch storyboards and documents, their credentials and other business or client presentations. Play a significant role in formal and
informal client presentations
• Workshops: Design and run client workshops
• Market knowledge: Keeping up-to-date with competitor and market activity
• Financial: Run projects to ensure profitability
• Research: sourcing, understanding, interpreting and writing narrative of research findings
• Briefing: internal team and third-party agencies
• Company procedure: involvement in the continued improvement and implementation of company procedures and adherence to same, together with involvement in new initiatives such as:
• Administration: General administrative duties as required to assist with the smooth running of the office and to provide support to the team
• Networking and generation of new business leads: responsible for the acquisition and retention of clients

Required education and professional qualifications
• Experience in consulting: business and marketing strategy
• Experience of working as part of a senior management or leadership team
• Client facing experience
• Experience of preparing proposals/running a P/L for projects
• Knowledge of marketing research / statistical software / data analytics and tools
• Experience / understanding of the wider real estate sector – regeneration, placemaking and residential - a bonus
