Syngroup is an international management consulting business specialising in the manufacturing sector. Our job is to make our clients more efficient. This means we offer practical consulting solutions and strong implementation credentials – working in partnership with leading manufacturing firms around the globe.
Our focus is on achieving sustainable performance improvement in operational and commercial areas, supported by project and programme management across complex and multi-functional assignments. Our firm has seen rapid growth thanks to its partnership with many international corporations and now has 100 employees across Austria, Germany, Italy and the UK.
To continue the evolution of the UK business beyond the start-up phase we are now looking to find a strong commercial business leader to take the company into the second decade of its growth path.
What are we looking for?
You are a highly self-motivated, driven and entrepreneurial leader with a proven track record of leading or contributing to a fast growing consulting business preferably combined with sales / commercial experience in the manufacturing sector.
You have successfully completed a post-graduate degree in a commercial or technical discipline and a minimum of 5 years of professional experience as commercial / sales director in a consulting environment. You have considerable experience of a consultancy based sales approach and managing key accounts in industry and / or the financial services sector. Know-how of lean manufacturing, operational excellence and continuous improvement programmes would be desirable.
You speak fluent English and preferably one other language.
You are a great communicator; love challenges and thrive on developing clever solutions in a team environment. You have the discipline and determination to see your ideas through to full implementation.
You live in the UK and are happy to travel extensively throughout the UK and Europe.
