Financial Services - Directors and Partners - Central London

£70k-£140k plus exceptional bonus (profit pool), plus benefits

Outstanding opportunity for exceptional Managers, Directors and Partners to join this new financial services focussed consulting firm. They are backed by a very successful, established consulting firm and are creating a new business in the financial services sector in the UK. They already have one very good partner in place and are now looking for a new Manager, Director or Partner to join them and help further develop business with banks and other financial services institutions. This creates a unique opportunity for ambitious Managers, Directors or Partners who want to take the next step and to get the responsibility for managing and developing a consulting business, with full P&L responsibility and profit pool sharing.

 

Sales

  • Identify potential buyers (COO,  CRO, CFO, CTO, more generally identify persons in charge of consultancy budgets)  in CIB and Private Banking area
  • Maintain the clients’ database (clients’ contacts and meetings’ history)
  • Propose commercial action plan to the Director
  • Prepare selling materials (mission’s statement, credentials…)
  • Organize meetings with these contacts
  • Attend commercial meetings with the Director and pitch our services
  • Speech for potential assignments with ad hoc materials
  • Formalize commercial proposals and respect the Prices list defined with the Director (do not apply any discount without the Director pre validation)
  • Prepare the client contract and obtain signatures from both Client and Director
  • Prepare the billing information every month end / Insure bills are paid by the Clients

Delivery management

  • Plan a kick-off meeting and determine with the Client representative results & deliverables expected, deadlines to respect. Define the project plan.
  • Install the project governance at the client: at least one Steering Committee every two weeks. Assist to every steering committee
  • Prepare steering materials
  • Manage the project team
  • Train the consultants on project management methodology, more generally train the consultants on the methodology to apply and make sure consultants improve rapidly their knowledge on the subjects treated
  • Control the deliverables to achieve high level of quality
  • Check deliverables, results, deadlines are aligned with initial engagements
  • Measure overall quality delivered
  • Organize discussion meetings with the client and the Director in order to prove we achieved / over-performed expected results
  • Identify other projects / jobs to apply for

Recruitment

  • Organize and conduct recruitments meetings for consultants/projects managers/managers
  • Hook candidates (on base salary decided by the Director) and make them sign a Permanent Contract

Salary : base salary + 25 % benefits (the % is the maximum of total benefits accorded on top of base salary ; the benefits is the sum of social benefits, collective bonus and individual bonus)
