A senior role in a highly dynamic and entrepreneurial consulting business, specialising in the Personal Information Economy and with a leading brand position and a strong reputation for innovation and quality.

This is an exceptional opportunity to work at the forefront of one the most exciting and important areas of customer relationships in the digital future. Reporting to the Head of Consulting, the successful candidate will have the opportunity to develop at pace with this fast-moving business.

Responsibilities include: 

  • ownership and delivery of of key client consulting bids and projects 
  • management of client facing consulting teams and team members
  • supporting development of key client propositions
  • supporting account development 

We are seeking an experienced professional, who has worked for blue chip consultancies, has managed Digital Service Design delivery teams, and has proven digital strategy expertise in a B2C environment, in relevant sectors and business functions.

Main responsibilities include: 

Project/Programme Delivery

  • Managing the delivery of digital innovation and or digital strategy consulting projects for blue chip clients 
  • Leading by doing: personally performing consulting activity
  • Managing client interface and senior stakeholder relationships 
  • Ensuring commercial integrity of project budgets and programmes of work 
  • Forming and running project teams of Ctrl-Shift consultants and partners including service design and consumer research agencies and
  • Mapping and devising innovative approaches to client solutions 


  • Deep B2C digital expertise gained in a senior consulting role - either fully responsible for or heavily involved in one or more of the following: 
    • digital innovation in client organisations
    • the development of client facing consulting propositions, playbook development and maintenance
    • team skills development and recruitment to support the delivery of client facing propositions
    • Sectors – Finance, Telecommunications, Retail, FMCG, Media 
    • Subject Matter/Functional consulting expertise in one or more of the following: Digital Innovation, Business Strategy, Marketing Strategy, Customer Experience, Digital Transformation
    • Leadership - led teams of consultants and partners / suppliers for client facing projects
    • Worked in an agile project management mode


  • Impressive interpersonal and communication skills – articulate in person and in writing, and able to create and deliver effective and compelling presentations as well as being an excellent listener 
  • Highly persuasive, able to influence and move others to action with an emphasis on building lasting and trusted relationships 
  • Team leadership and management skills – able to inspire and motivate as well as enjoy working in a collaborative, team environment 
  • Highly commercial – able to balance the complex commercial requirements of our clients and our business


  • An appetite for hard work and a drive to achieve successful outcomes for clients, whilst working with levels of ambiguity
  • Proactive, able to work independently and autonomously within commercial boundaries – taking the initiative and responsibility for achieving programme/project success with an understanding of personal limitations

Contextual Knowledge: 

  • A keen understanding of the impact of digital and data driven changes in the market across technology, consumers, legislation and business demands and an appetite to extend your knowledge and capabilities 
  • Desirable – a good understanding of the Personal Information Economy, the potential of Personal Information Management Services and the opportunity that Me2B commerce offers. However, Ctrl-Shift have a deep knowledge base and experience in this market and have a development programme for people new to the Personal Information Economy. Once understood, you will be able to use your knowledge of the trust economy to open up new relationships and opportunities with new and existing clients
