Operational Excellence Senior Consultant - UK Wide

Mindbench is working with one of the leading global consulting firms in operational excellence to hire into the UK office. The firm has been active in the consulting industry for 35 years, supporting many of the leading global brands in both mature and emerging markets.

The firm has over 400 consultants with real world hands-on experience capable of designing and implementing clients' strategies and action plans globally. They work from 26 offices globally and represent of 43 nationalities, working on over 900 assignments annually in over 70 countries.
The international scope and local delivery capability ensures that clients have access to specialist skills they require whether at national, regional or global levels.
On average, the firm generates ROI of 5 to 1 in the first year of engagements, and has a client retention rate of over 90% - they work on building successful long term relationships.

The Role:
As an Operational Excellence Consultant, you will be responsible for delivering and/or managing the delivery of Operational Excellence programmes and projects with the company's UK client base.
Your work will be mostly within the Supply Chain with focus on manufacturing companies in the UK.

Required Experience:
You will have a track record in the hands on delivery of Operational Excellence within a Supply Chain environment with sound manufacturing exposure, have held a position with operational management responsibility (Senior COnsultant) and have the ability to effectively manage both senior and operational stakeholders through the change process, delivering significant bottom line results.
You will also have:

  • Extensive TPM experience with knowledge of Lean and/or SixSigma in Manufacturing, Warehousing, Transport or Supply Chain Planning.
  • Achieved significant results (e.g. 10% year on year cost reduction)
  • strong post-university experience in leadership roles within Manufacturing/Warehouse Operations, Transport or Supply Chain Planning
