This exact topic has already been discussed at length in two other threads - "Value of Certified Management Consultant" and "Get a grip - consultants aren't..". I do wish people would look to see whether there is already an identical thread in forums before starting another. One would have thought that competent Management Consultants would need to be particularly good at thought management, and be used to researching data so as to produce coherent and erudite reports; but evidently no longer is this true?
