All the interactions I've had with them have been very positive.In terms of them always appearing in the newsletter, they've been running recruitment evenings more or less continuously for the last year so these have automatically featured in the e-newsletter. Has anyone been to one of their careers evenings, and if so, what's the format?

Hi!The evenings take place once a month, usually on a Thursday evening starting around 630pm with informal drinks/canapes. There are usually about 7 or 8 potential applicants and about 4 or 5 Moorhouse people, including one of their directors and their head of HR. There is a short presentation from the director about their work and then a short presentation about their culture, social activities etc from one of their consultants. Then there is the chance to ask questions followed by a 1:1 meeting between you and one of their consultants to establish mutual fit/interest. The events are invitation only - invites are despatched after you submit a CV, if you fulfil their basic criteria. They're a good way for both parties to sound each other out in an informal and relaxed environment. They finish at about 830pm and you usually get feedback within a day or so.
