The same time last year was very good.This is the common discussion heard now between any two IT consultants meet.But did any body llok into why is it happening.In u.k certain consulting companies are trying to hold the jobs.Even the consultants are available and clients need them but theseconsulting firms are creating the panic the market and increassing their rates.They are charging the clients with more money stating this consultant is hard to find and with no alternative clients are paying more than what they have to.I have a simple instance.One of my friend in u.k forwarded his c.v to wipro technologies for permenant position.They have gone through all the technical intervies and HR process and kept him hold for three months and never gave him an offer letter.But he had seen for the similar position they recruited contract positions.The point is these consuling companies get the contracts from the clients first,they will not start the work even if they have the resources and keep the client waiting.client without any alternative will go for contratc positions from the same firm for higher rates until they get some permenant consultant alloted for the projct.Its shame on these companies how they exploit the market.This will result in clients loosing trust on these technologies and will find alternative methods and until then if they stop using the technology then who will suffer.evryone,so consulting companies shoul not use the short cuts rather than spoiling the market but look for long term business.This is only trying to take the information to the right people who would stop the business process adopted by some in experienced and trying to spoil the reputation of the company.
