I am a 30 year old chartered accountant qualified from the Institute of Chartered accountants of India. I worked as a Senior Executive in the audit division of Grant Thornton, Botswana, Africa for 3 years. After this I have been working as the Finance Manager in a Listed Company in Botswana for the past one year. I am now on the look out for a job in UK as a Financial controller/ Assistant Financial controller. Are the above qualifications recognised in the UK job market? Or do I need to obtain some additional qualifications? If so, what would you suggest? Would really appreciate some guidance on this front. Thank you.
