Could anyone recommend a good consulting-orientated book or two? I’m going to be spending a lot of time on the road this summer so the more suggestions the better. Anything with an FS bias would be much appreciated.

Sun Tzu and the Art of Business - Mark McNeillyA very insightful interpretation of Sun Tzu's philosophies. It also contains a pretty good translation of the original text.

Thanks for both of those suggestions. I read a couple of Emerson’s essays last night – engrossing stuff. A definite philosophical theme so far, should make the travelling more enjoyable and enlightening. I would still love to hear a couple more ideas…
