I'm just not terrible keen on people who are too lazy to do even a little bit of research, and expect to be spoon-fed everything.You're a self-selecting group, though -- because it becomes abundantly clear at interview who has really done their homework and understands the job they're applying for, and those who only have a cursory understanding. And lazy people who expect to be spoon-fed very rarely make it past first-round interview.But here you go. EY's competitors are: other Big 4 consultancies, leading operational consultancies, and specialist consultancies. Or in other words: organisations who do roughly the same thing as EY.Issues facing EY: categories of consulting becoming commodities, fee rate erosion, walking the delicate line between audit and non-audit services they can offer their clients, competitive differentiation.
