I have narowed down my choice of consulting firms to Ernet & Young Business Advisery Services, Mott MacDonald, Mars & CO, MacKinsey, Reed and BGC. Which is the best firm for me. I did business studies at university so do I apply threw the "business school recruiting" lnk on the website or should I call directly to apply. Are there good agences I should also apply to.

i think you should go directly to mars and co's offices and pay them a visit. they are very welcoming to business studies students. you should tell them you intend to apply to 'Mackinsey'. You should ask them how they are abloe to better dissect the enemy. You should then ask them whether they give free mars bars each day. If not offer them one. And lastly i would recommend copying their founders hairstyle - its easy and pretty similr to a poodles.

I think you need to do some more research. Those firms you mentioned are wildly different from each other. What is is you are looking for?

Loof1,You seriously need to look into the companies you are referring to. To put Mckinsey and Mott Macdonald in the same bracket is embarrassing. I may be sticking my neck out but from your posting, i'm betting you have a slightly better chance of getting a job with Motty Mac than with all the others. Not least because they pretty much employ anyone.
