Hello, your opinion greatly appreciated.I have been working for the last 2 yrs in the industry on a grad scheme, but would like to move into MC. I've reached the final round (next week) with 2 MC boutiques in London for the entry-level role. Once my employer found this out, they offered me Senior Analyst role. Question: if I ask now, during the final round, about the possibility to join on a Senior Analyst level, would it be ok? I know it's too soon for me to join on MBA level, but maybe as a 2nd year Analyst or so...? What do you think: ask or shut up? ;-)

pablo you need to provide names of the firm you work for and the firms your interviewing with or atleast a hint i.e big 5 so that one can analyze their calibre in contrast to each otherand provide an objective point of view.Moreover what are your career goals and plans? More detail needed. Its a career desicion your taking about - not wich pants you wish to wear to work.Once you've filled us in, I'd be more than happy to provide some advice.

Anon, thanks for reply. To make long story short... - Currently: blue-chip group (don't want to put names but it's one from Unilever, P&G, Nestle, Kimberly, L'Oreal). - The MC firms I'm interviewing with are: one from Big4, one tier 2 MC (one from Monitor, OC&C, Mercer)- Objectives: Mid-term: Associate with IB (M&A) or MBBB (both after MBA), Long-term: some top level in the industry (preferably expat contract with the multinational) but if I stay with IB/MC in more senior roles then also ok.- Constraints: not many chances to move into IB due to lack of IB experience (although I'm working with few recruiters on equity research role); limited MC exposure (one internship with MBBB).
