I have an upcoming interview with Booz. I wish I could say that I know why I prefer them over Mckinsey or Bain or Boston - the reality is - as you well know, this is a competitive industry: not everyone is fortunate enough to have first picks. Ive had a reply from 2 of the top 4 - im starting to prepare for both. I know some of thier advantage lies in thier size (over the other 3 ), their well developed technology practice and thier strength in the USA. I am a very junior consultant ( 4 years exp) - I would really appreciate if someone could give me some constructive advice on what edge to play. Any insight into thier culture, mindset or those 'peculiarities' that firms look for in a candidate - those 'softer' smudges of character that are hard to research but really pay off - would be great.
