If it is 7 - 8 years Public Sector experience i.e 7 years with Devonhire council then I am afraid you will get an offer of 40 - 50K. If you had 7 - 8 years consulting experience you would be worth at least 70K.

I have been in Consulting for 4 years now, with last 2 years for Public Sector clients , though its mostly been IT stuff(Analysis/Design/Etc). Is there scope for negotiation usually , once they offer me a job and a salary or is it more "Take-it-or-Leave-it" approach ?

That is exactly the case. ACN rarely negotiates.

They may not move on salary, but give them a hard time for a signing bonus and a relocation package, if appropriate. They will shift on these, if they feel you are a very attractive candidate.

I have just been offered an M1 position with ACN in CRM Consulting: C&HT Sector - but no mention of a relocation package or sign on bonus - would you say that ACN do not mention this, but will strongly consider it if asked - I have approx 8 years relevant experience and signals at final interview was that my experience was very sought after.

I would guess you would join as a C3 (55k) or M1 (65k + car allowance)

What sort of car does the car allowance afford you? What do managers typically drive at Accenture?
