Hello - I was just wondering if anyone had some insider info, such as prestige, salaries, clients, type of work etc, on two companies:1) Celerant Consulting2) The new 'consulting' arm of Ernst and Young. Any help would be greatly appreciated!T

T,yep worked for them for a while.Great experience, hard work. I left in 2001 after a big shake up where they got rid of the people I worked with. A bunch of them set up "Evolve" along the same lines. I now work for a smaller offshoot who work very differently.Prestige - very much a "Proudfoot" clone, os good recognition as an implementation consultancy. Not much "new thinking" just good at the basics.Chase large contracts - so quite high risk.Implementation - dependant on your age/experience you could start as project admin (lots of hours, low pay, excellent experience) or further up the food chain. All in all, 5 days on client site, lots of hours (especially on the analytical side), JFDI a favourite saying (just f###ing do it). But you will learn a lot. And you need to be able to drink alcohol!!Any more q's please ask.
