Axon Consulting has been advertising on the site several consulting positions in the Middle East, including Dubai. Also, check the European and Asia Pacific job boards on the site, where the Middle East positions would be. Good luck.

I have several years in Process Improvement (Lean & Six Sigma), and have been a Professor in a highly reputable university in the USA teaching Quality Control and Quality Management for the past 3 years, I am also one of few ASQ Certified Black Belts in the world. I am looking for contacts to conduct some training workshops and consulting in the Gulf area. I would appreciate any help. I also speak Arabic fluently. Thanks.

Alex, to answer your question honestly just look at the last post or 2 on the middle east - but I have many contacts in Dubai and have had family there since 1980's and not a lot is happening and you're going to find it hard with not a lot of experience generally and also because of no mid east experience - I know this doesn't help but its a tough market there - you can blag it (best bet) and most people do which is why Dubai is full of untalented freeloaders and attracts the average - trust me on that one. Its all about who you know - in fact I met a load of people who were employed for a top tier firm, although not consultants per se, it was laughable they were even employed with this firm. Cynicism aside - get out there, get contacts, apply for lots, tailor your experience for Mid East and when you get out there it is a fantastic lifestyle if you settle in - I have not experienced a better lifestyle.
