Anyone recently moved to one of the reborn consulting arms of the Big 4 accountancy firms, and are they paying a premium over the core consultancy operators like Accenture, IBM...etc...

Don't think so, no - package reasonable here but think I would get more at Accenture. They don't do my type of work though. Deloitte never lost Consulting.

i'm at one of the big guys. have had some discussions with 3 of big 4. Am afraid they underpay vs current level - bonus potentially better (about 20%) but salary discussed was 75k vs 90k currently. I think this was reflected in the people they seemed to be interviewing at the same time - Celerant, small niche players etc

Interesting debate. Recently moved from ACN to EY and got a very competitive package. KPMG/PWC offering below this as they haven't started building advisory practices properly yet, while EY have and are willing to pay premium rates. Deloitte is competitive with ACN, I believe as (was rightly pointed out) they still retain a full consulting division.
