Energy. So we will definitely talk about what they do in this area, but that's fine as I know that really well. Thay work on a number of interesting projects, but what else can I expect?

Why don't you call them and ask?! Talk about total lack of initiative... and you want to be a management consultant?!Pa use PAPI personality tests, verbal and numerical reasoning (by CUBIX, the staff assessment firm they set up and now part own), partner interviews (usual what do you want to do with your life stuff), competency based interviews by peer consultants, sometimes an HR screen to check the veracity of any accomplishments you're claiming and business case tests. What you'll get in round 1 depends on what they are looking for, how big the pool of potentails is they are sifting through and how the partner in charge feels when he's setting up the assessment centres

I'd agree with that!!! I'd have asked on receiving the interview offer, it's the most simple way of gaining quality info. Also ask who will be running the interview and what their role is.Don't be afraid to ask them what will be the interview content or structure - if you have questions then you look to the most likely source of reliable information i.e. PA themselves.
