Hi, I am quite curious and also interested in finding out about how the "internal consulting" market works from a talent/recruitment perspective. Personally my gut feeling is that this is probably a very network/contact based hiring market. The latest edition of the Top-consultant newsletter for Q4 2005 also lists this as a major trend in the market for consuling talent - especially with rates under pressure and room for pay-rises being capped. For years I have heard peers say that internal consulting opportunities within large corporates are growing. Same arguments were given about why pay the rates, why go thru' the learning curve and "norming and storming" phases with new providers and supplier teams, retaining internal IP and IC, etc.Would really welcome any suggestions, ideas, opinions, offers of assistance on how to approach breaking into this space and identifying which corporates are really serious about the value of internal consulting and empowering their internal teams to add business value + the obvious interest in who might be recruiting now or in the near future. Thanks
