I keen to move in to PMO based work with a consultancy firm. After a handful of applications and only 1 interview, I think I need to add some professional development to my CV.I've got 5 years post-grad experience in engineering and project/programme management (delivery and accountability of programmes) however with a 2:2 degree from a lower uni my academia doesn't carry any significant leverage.I currently work as an engineer leading a team of engineers/designers on development projects for automotive programmes.I've been primarily looking at CIMA progression - I'd need to start at the base due to my background (i.e. non-financial sector based).Do people consider this to be a good grounding to strengthen ones capabilities in targeting PMO based positions?
