Hey,I am graduating soon and starting in Consultancy. A question I have is - do Consultancyfirms use Agile Methods like XP, Crystal Clear? I have heard loads about join the dots processes in the Business side of things - what way is the IT side normally managed?

Read up on ITIL, SDLC methodologies, the CMM etc....

Agile methods are not mainstream yet. Some in-house departments in big companies experiment with it. Clients won;t pay top dollar on methods that are yet unproven.
