I can't talk to BearingPoint, but IBM BCS are truly a terrible employer. You only need to ask anyone there why all the PwC staff have left. This week, even Vic Luck, who was the former head of BCS has even resigned. In IBM training is limited, pay rises are minimal, and bonuses are opaque. Add to this a terribly political and confrontational culture, and you'll see why its not a place to join. Having said all that, their hiring standards have fallen dramatically recently due to the flood of people leaving, so it should be relatively easy to get a job offer from them.
