Hello,I am not sure if this will help, and am not sure if this is what you're looking for, but "protiviti" is a verb and means "to be against" in Croatian and Serbian. If you are looking for an information about the etymology of that word in English, I am not sure it exists, as it is a pure Slavic word. On the other hand, there is a company named "Protiviti" that is know as an Enterprise Risk Management consultancy in North America and you can find it at www.protiviti.com and if you are looking at the origin of its name, I am not sure what to say about that...Happy holidays!Rose
