Does anyone (well, particularly people from PA) know of any up coming oppourtunities within PA Project Management practice? Or, what would be the best approach to discuss appointments for project management or supply chain management? I notice they've got an open evening arranged, however this appears to be geared for other areas and I'm not 100% convinced that attending will help me (or PA either).Any thoughts?

PA have adverts on the site right now both for Project/ Programme Management Practice area (see this advert: http://www.top-consultant.com/UK/career/appointmentstwo.asp?ID=15156) and for senior supply chain consultants (see this advert: http://www.top-consultant.com/UK/career/appointmentstwo.asp?ID=14344). Hope that helps! Tony

PA's Project Management practice apparently have 20 places to fill in 2006, plus they've just reshuffled some staff into a new Defence practice so there are opportunities. Would suggest contacting the PA practice recruitment staff directly if the open evening doesn't pan out as all the practice recruitment staff talk to each other & will pass on CVs of candidates they consider suitable for PA generally if not within their own practice. You may not talk with a PM representative at the open day but I'd be asking whoever I talked to about who to contact first in the PM practice. Best of luck!
