Hi everybody,just enetered the site, i ve graduated as engineer in greece (2:1), and completed msc in engineering mgt in top 5 in this course uni's in uk. For the last 2 years i work in top management consultancy firm in greece in logistics-scm department. I want to pursue a career globally....which is the best period to seek for it?Now or should i wait to become senior firstly where i am (in 1,5-2)years from now?Do i need to complete mba studies?Especially from top-uni?Other studies at all?Thanks a priori,Anastasia

Yia sou AnastasiaTwo years experience is really the minimum to look at making a move. However now is a good time to move (espeically to the UK) as the market is pretty good. Whilst another few years experience would be useful, who knows what the market will be like at that time? With your academcis and experience you should be able to find a Consultant position with a Global Firm, however can you not move with your current employer?An MBA is not essential. It would be if you want to move to Strategy consulting - but if you do pursue it, choose a top Business School - one where the major Global Firms recruit thier MBA intake from.
