Would anyone have any idea what a newly promoted SC to Manager (M2 to M4) would fetch at Deloitte. Also any views on the bonus percentage / value this year?

Basic of 45 to 48k ish. Bonus? Depends, but, in all my years at Deloitte, "Business is great - targets are being smashed" usually turns into "challenging market conditions" come bonus time. Then the Partners pocket an average £600k. No bonus again this year? Probably. If this does happen, top tip is to sit close to the exit at Athene, so you can be first out of the door to a recruiter.

Totally incorrect. The range referred to is more consistent with payscales for an M1. For those performing on, or below par, the bonus story is weak and having a prime seat in the lobby is not such a bad idea. However, for those outperformers (yes they do exist) the picture is far more rosy. Mediocrity yields the same results no matter where you are.

I can confirm that Deloitte pay upper forties at M1, having just been offered this.

Totally agree. Deloitte is very good at employing industry hires at a lower level with the promise of promoting them in a year. Then through all sorts of 'business reasons' tell the industry hires 'sorry, no promotion this year'. To add insult to the injury, Deloitte is also great at telling you 'no bonus, no pay increase, not even CPI adjustment'.

So first two years i take home £32k then as consultant upto about £36k? Then Senior consultant £40k? Doesn't seem like a great pay increase..
