Hi Folks, I have been currently and have been looking to move out of sales and looking to move into management consultancy. You never choose sales as a profession as it is something that you end up doing. Being in my early 30's I am considering a career change with management consultancy the chosen path. Any advice on how I would go about that?

Hi Jim,I am in a somewhat similar predicament. Currently I am trasitioning from an "employee" mindset to an "entrepreneur" mindset. It's hard to break out of the perennial chains of bondage (a regular paycheck), but there comes a point in time when one must! Can you live without a regular paycheck for 6 months to a year? Do you have the emotional staying power and tenacity to handle rejection? Do you have a strong network of folks who are familar with your skills and can refer you to small businesses?
