Consultants, I am about to start a career in consulting with an Economics and Management Science degree from a top uni in the UK but am keen to progress further and add to the CV with some more qualifications. The problem is, I don't know which one!In your opinion(s), what do you think would be the most beneficial to a consulting career. There is talk of MBA's and Deloitte put you through CIMA but what have you got/would you have done in hindsight to give you an advantage over others in terms of marketing yourself to potential employers but also in making you a better consultant.My plans at present are to follow transformation/change management/strategy career paths.Thanks for your helpLC

Not clear to me whether you want to get a job and then progress academically or vice versa. On assumption that you are not going accounting, however, I would say that MBA is route to go for consulting - many other threads on here about selelction and full-time/ Executive etc.
