Hi UCL Boy,My experience of telephone interviews is that they are generally a personality fit type interview and to ensure that you've not lied on your CV, i.e., is it worth us getting this guy in for an interview or will he grunt all the way through it. Of course if they've said you'll be interviewed by a Partner then you might need to re-think that.basically be happy, affable and articulate. Know a little about the company and the projects of the team you're looking to join. Have examples prepared for the obvious questions "when have u been under pressure to deliver", "when have u led a team" - oh u play football how do u feel if the team lets u down etc.So sorta the same as a first face-to-face interview usually shorter - but hey ring up their HR dept and ask - they'll take it as you wanting to prepare - if you're unsure just as "do u require me to prepare a presentation for the phone interview" - and then launch into... "oh ok so just CV check/friendly chant then"good luck.Lex
