Hi I have been invited to a first round interview with pa consulting; they have asked me to submit a 500 word essay on the issues facing General Motors. Can anyone give me any tips on going about this and key issues to consider. I know this is a big favor to ask, but any help would be much appreciated.

This is hardly the making of a great analyst! Asking other people where to find info on one of the biggest current stories in the corporate world is not the best way forward..go and do the research lazy bones...And another thing-Look up Barbera Minto and make sure you write in what PA refers to as "Top Down Thinking"-I'll leave you to figure this out too...
