HelloI would like to know if the Big Consultancies and mid size consultancies hire at this time of year. If not, when do they typically hire? (Looking to get into IT Consulting)I have been going through Recruiters for the last 2 months with no positive return yet. I have good project management experience, worked on Business Intelligence, good degree, etc. In short - I believe I have good experience, good education, but havent had any responses. Is it the recruiters? Is it my CV? Any advice would be welcome. Thanks!

Many of us have hit our headcount targets for 2005. I suggest you hold off, and try again in the new year. IBM could be an option: they seem to have real problems in hiring staff.

The mid-sized conpanies tend to hire based on their current work pipeline. I know of a few in NY that I'd be glad to share with you.
