HiI am in the process of applying to strategy firms directly, but wondered if anyone had an opinion on whether it would be sensible to use a recruitment agency as well? If so, any ideas which ones are good for placing people in general strategy firms (I'd be going is an experienced hire if it helps)?CheersTony

Probably best to choose just one route, and if you are confident about your merits as a candidate, I would apply directly.

Don't waste time applying direct - I did and got no interviews in several months of applying. Through the right agencies, I got two interviews and an offer within a month. Direct applications are fine for graduate entry, as people with no experience are pretty much a blank canvas, but an experienced hire is a (semi)finished article so it takes an experienced recruiter to find the right fit with an available position.
