Oh come come... there is nothing wrong with brown shoes per se - depends on style and what you were them with.Also note that the website is American, and whilst we British are not always models of formal elegance, style and smartness in business dress are scarce commodities indeed in the US. In few other places in the Western world can one buy such badly-cut suits, and in few quarters are shirts and ties in complementary tones (taupe, mauve etc) thought aesthetically acceptable. In my time there, my suits (and general business attire) were on quite a number occasions the stimulus for favourable comment / admiraton / female attention.
