Ok, there seems to be some cofusion here. IMC (Institute for Management Consultancy) is not a qualification; it's a professional body for management consultants. It's got 4 grades of membership: Associate, Member, Fellow and Affiliate (depending on your years/achievements in consultancy). IMC also offers a CMC (Certified Management Consultant) qualification. To get it you need to demonstrate that you have consulting skills as well as expertise in your field (strategy, HR, Finance etc.) It would normally take you a couple of years of experience to get to the CMC level.
