Agree with Tony. Being a consultant with several years experience at a Big 4 firm, I bought the book thinking it will be a mixture of anecdotes and insights into the industry, but it turns out to be a pile of rubbish. If you want a (very) serious insight into consultancy read Milan Kubr's Management Consulting or Phil Sadler's Management Consultancy: A Handbook for Best Practice; far more approachable, yet still very informative is The Top Consultant by Calvert Markham. If you're after the anecdotes but still want to learn something useful along the way try Martin Ashford's "Con Tricks: Choosing the right consultancy"
