Can someone point me in the right direction. I want to get into consultancy. I have 20 years of retail operations management experience, have devised a web based system for staff attendence monitoring, been Director of Operations for a couple of years to a service company and a couple of operations roles on the way. I have no quailfications bar a Diploma in Management Studies? Any ideas?

Hi newbie, I am also a management-consulting aspirant.But with 'zero' years of experience in any field.I have just passed my Under-graduation.I am even a average performer in school and college.I am doing a course ,Diploma in Business.i surely beleive that i can get a place in McKinsey by one-year from now.My perspective on management consulting is, helping business-houses to betterment and becoming more better.For this we got be with few skills ,which are learnable.i dont want to make this profession as a serious one.Management consulting is a very interesting indoor-sport. Well good luck anyway - I have the "experience" but without qualifications.... Anyone know a good "turnaround" consultancy I might approach?
