Hello, I'm interested in the Career Forum cited in the subject. However, I'm not sure about the content of the one day Forum. Who can answer me the following doutes:1. How many participant firms are going to conduct on-the-spot recruitment interviews?2. Similar as the first: Is this a recruitment event or a real forum for talking and understanding ?3. How about the job-seeking successful rate of the candidates from last year's statistics? please, reply to me as soon as you can. THANK YOU FOR YOUR ATTENTION ! faithfully yours,Christian

Christian - in answer to your questions: 1) and 2) This is a Careers Fair, much like you would expect to see taking place at top universities and business schools around the world. So there are ~40 organisations attending - including most of the major name consulting firms - and they will have both a careers stand (where you can meet and talk to representatives from the firms) and also in many cases will be giving a 45 minute presentation about opportunities at their firm. WIth regards to 3) this is the first time this careers fair has been held (in previous years there simply hasn't been the recruitment demand to hold a Careers Fair on such a huge scale). So previous stats cannot be given - but certainly all the firms attending are looking to recruit staff in considerable numbers - so an excellent opportunity to meet lots of potential employers. Hope that helps & hope to see you there. Tony

Dear Mr.Tony, Thanks a lot for your very prompt reply. I'm not sure if you are from the Career Fair organizing team. But my concern is actually to get opportunities to formally and systematically interview the consulting firms, seeking for a job in UK. Since I'm going to be in London for only 2 days, time is precious and I have to value my time by receiving firm interview and effectively start the process. Do you think my expectation is appropriate and can be reached during the Forum ??I'd like to keep in touch with you, Thanks again !Xiting

Dear Mr.Tony, One additional point: If you are in the Staff, could you send an invitation letter for my application for a UK visa if I registered for the Career Fair?? I need enough time for my visa, to reserve hotel room and to buy an economic train ticket. Those really require time. Thank you for your attention !Kindly, Xiting

The format of the event is that ~40 firms will have representatives that all careers fair attendees can meet and talk to about career opportunities at that firm. But this will not be an opportunity for you to be interviewed by these firms - it is a chance to meet lots of firms and decide which ones you would like to apply to. So I would not attend if you are expecting to be able to have formal interviews with the recruiters during the course of the day - this is simply not the format of the event. Tony
