PA Consulting - Work/Life balance

I have recently attended an interview at PA (experienced hire) and have a question, for which I would love to hear an honest inside answer:- How is the work-life balance? At Accenture the "5 days away, back for the weekend" is all too common. Perhaps the better question is, what proportion of PA's clients are NOT based in London or the South East?

Most of our UK clients are London based. Currently, my own client is based in the City, and the previous one was out near Gatwick. PA have just spent a lot of time on the whole WLB issue, as it was an area of weakness for us until recent times. It is increasingly the norm to work from the London office (or indeed home) on a Friday, if your client is amenable and they usually are, if you're producing results

Thanks Cheggars, does anyone else have a differing view on this, or is the feeling that PA does indeed appreciate the need to find a balance?
