Is it true that Serco are carefully picking consultants from the top 4/5 to build their practice? Rumours are that this is true, but are there any views from those inside?

I can assure you that this is true. We are recruiting about 5 - 8 new people a month and almost all come from the big 5/6 with backgrounds in FS, retail and government consulting and functional specialisms like programme management, enterprise architecture, change, BPR etc
