I am due to finish a Life Sci PhD at UCL next summer, and have been considering consultancy as the next step in my career. I have an excellent academic record (scholarships, medals etc.), good programming and quant skills , but no work experience whatsoever, apart from the usual student type summer jobs. Would firms see this as a problem or do they not expect this on CVs from fresh PhDs?I really appreciate any help.
