I need advice. I've been at Accenture for three and a half years working largely on business transformation projects in banking (2 years) and system implementation (capital markets). I am not a tecchie, do not specialise in any industry-specific systems / packages but have an abundance of 'transferable' skills (e.g. project management). My roles have all been client-facing. I feel like I have 'outgrown' the firm, I'm on a long term project, the career framework is becoming too rigid (e.g. no chance of going back into capital markets now!) ONE PROBLEM - I DON'T KNOW WHAT I WANT TO DO NEXT! I want a similar salary (top end for my experience and would like to remain in a pressurised, competitive environment but with more autonomy and a 'flatter' structure? Any ideas on firms / career options? I would quite like to get into investment banking project management but all the recruiters have told me to forget it!! HELP!
