Unless I'm much mistaken, wasn't it Accenture that won the lion's share of the NHS IT contracts and have hundreds of their staff running round organising electronic patient records for the whole of the NHS?!!?!?! I'd say the choice comes down much more to how much you like the people at these 2 firms rather than to any difference in the caliber of their clients / assignments...

Adam, i think your right, ACN did get the bulk of the NHS contract. Only thing with going with how 'much you like the people' is that you dont really get to know them till you join. Those you meet at recruitment events and through the interview process are always extra nice...sometimes bordering on falseness!

BT won the bulk of the NHS programme. Whichever company you join DO NOT get involve in NHS work. IT IS very boring!

Cheggers

Hello all. I work for PA and, with a somewhat biased eye, I'd have to say here that the culture is very people focussed. Far moreso than the Systems Integrators / Outsourcers that I've worked for previously. This is perhaps down to the fact that we own the company ourselves, and are not beholden to external shareholders and financiers. I don't know that we actually do ANY work for the NHS, but I could be wrong. You won't regret joining PA.
