Hi, Need a little bit of help. I have about 10 yrs. exp. of which big 4 acc. firm (2 years) and as an entrepreneur in manuf. and IT. Also an MBA and am doing my PhD at Imperial. Can I get into consulting and if so where should I look and at what level? Thanks for any advice.

Hi, I have recently set up a strategy consultancy, targeting the IT and Insurance sectors. My business partner and I are in our early 30's and have previous experience in Management consulting. It helps to have this experience, but many consulting companies also look for real business experience and industry understanding - so I would guess that you have lots of options open. We have plans to grow our business to 50 consultants within 5 years, and our values are fun, flexibility, value add and creativity in everything we do.
